The faculty member at Al-Safwa University, Department of Accounting, Ms. Blasim Mohammed Ibrahim, contributed to the publication of a scientific research on “The Role of Value Engineering in Enhancing Managerial Decision-Making: An Applied Study.” The research delved into the application of value engineering techniques in one of the laboratories of the Leather Industries Company, Baghdad Leather Factory. Value engineering is considered one of the key techniques that focuses on analyzing functions that add value to the product, excluding those that do not add value, thus reducing costs and providing useful information for the purpose of improving decision-making processes.
